I've read the article and I should say I absolutely agree with the author. Traditional management does not always prove to be effective. That's why we have to come up with something fresh and change our working patterns. I think that the easiest way to bring innovation into your management is to use tools that liberalize the management process itself. In my opinion tools like Wrike.com give your team more freedom and therefore make it more productive.

Agreeable Post! I had gone through your link and it's informative and beneficial to enhance knowledge in practice. As said above, I too feel that new innovative stuff is necessary in any field to raise/maintain the standard of bestowing knowledge.
