Project Management Tip - The Postive Project Executive Factoid

How often do you see executives who care about your project in the hallway, elevator, etc.?
Once a month, several times a week, several times per day?
What do you say to them?
"Hello, how are you?"
Is that all?

If it is, consider preparing your "recent positive project factoid" for when you unexpectedly pass them in the hallway. This will allow you to say something like,
"Hi! Did you know that we are almost at 50% complete?"
Or, if they speak to you first, "Hello , PMThinker, how are things?".
You are ready to reply, "Great - we have 7 pages of completed tasks now."
Notice it's only 1 sentence and something that you can say as you walk by and something they can smile about.
They are busy people. So are you. It only takes a few seconds to give your project a boost.
What positive thing can you say about your project today?
