Web 2.0 Skills

IBM partners with universities to introduce Web 2.0 skills into curriculum in order to prepare the next generation of computer science graduates for the emerging web technologies. These new applications of technology will leverage networks of people and combinations of information in ways that had not previously been available. ...

This is interesting. Big blue is definitely spotting a trend here. I wonder how Web 2.0 will change as it becomes more formalized.

Hi Joseph. I think Big Blue's endorsement may make these technologies easier to adopt in the Fortune 500. There is a tendency to connect Web 2.0 with the current generation of students entering the workforce.

I think most of the basic concepts of social networks and programming techniques will translate into the corporate computing environment.
