Tweet your Team

Twitter has definitely arrrived. With an 8 fold growth in the last year and with regular mentions on public radio, this is not just for Gen Y any more.
How would this apply to project management? Well, if communication is essential to project management, then more communication should be better - right? Probably, up to a point. The risk is in the belief that instant, pushed communication would replace the need for managed, timely communication. One can imagine team dynamics, for instance in a Scrum environment, where rapid instant messaging about questions or decisions would really accelerate communications.
